It was a wonderful experience five years ago, not anymore. Or to have the gentleman across from me wearing basketball shorts and an undershirt. At $115 for just the two entrees I would have expected not to have a person next to me slugging a bud light out of the can, while watching something on his cell phone without the benefit of headphones. The dining experience did not coordinate with the entrée prices. Nice person, but over their head in terms of service. Never refilled the water glasses as requested. Brought us our steaks without steak knives and had to go back and get them. Never changed the silverware after the starter. Never provided plates to share the starter. Never informed us of the specials, we only found out there were specials when we overheard our server telling them to another table. To recap the service: the server did not bring the bread at the beginning of the meal. The desserts were just okay, but not worth returning for. Of note there was an up charge for the “house” steak sauce. At a fifteen-dollar premium ($65/ 8 oz) over the CAB Filet, again not worth it. Words I do not often say, not worth the money. Not good as it was fatty and a little on the tough side. One was the CAB (Certified Angus Beef) NY Strip. The server brought it back to the table minutes later steaming hot. We asked that the cold one be returned to the kitchen.

One side dish was plain cold and the other was warm at best. We did get the bread, but never received the water. Following the appetizer, we reminded our server that we had not received any bread and, additionally, asked for more water. Therefore, we used our bread-and-butter plates for the appetizer. The app was barely warm, and the server did not provide plates on which to share. We order an appetizer to share, two steaks and two sides. A second server came to the table, no bread and took our order. Our server told us bread would be over shortly. Vastly different from our first visit when they were known for their wine list. When asked for a beverage order, we asked for a wine list and the server informed us there was none. To start, a host sat us, and our server quickly greeted us. was mediocre, servers were pleasant but not capable, and the place was dead before 9:00 PM. Flash forward to last night and it did a U-turn. The food was spectacular, the service was spot on, and the place was packed. The first time I reviewed this restaurant, five years ago, I could not say enough positive things about it.
